WELCOME TO THE FIGHTING COCKS HORTON KIRBY

The Fighting Cocks is a beautiful, friendly, independent, multi award winning family pub and restaurant situated in the beautiful village of Horton Kirby in Kent. Featuring a beautiful orangery restaurant and a large beer garden, where you can enjoy your food and drink listening to the gentle sounds of the river Darent meandering by at the bottom of the garden. The outside also features a play area, where your children can play in safety and there's plenty of parking if you're bringing the car. Caveat that adverse weather may mean opening times will change ad-hoc.
During these unprecedented times we understand that our guests may be wary of coming back to the pub and that our trade may be affected because of this. As a consequence we may have to change these opening hours on an ad hoc basis to protect the cashflow of the business and ensure we can safely and profitably operate to keep the business going and protect jobs. Christmas celebration
Once again we shared a wonderful Christmas Lunch! Everything was done efficiently from the booking through to paying the bill The food was beautifully presented, especially the meringue 'snowman' and all tasted delicious. We are a group of 'seniors' so opted for the 'senior' meals which were very generous and excellent value. I chose the vegetarian 'wellington' for a change - very tasty. A lovely start to the festive season! 5 Stars
